ABOUT US

The Royal House of Gio (RHG) is the official traditional Kingdom and cultural institution of the Gio (Dan) people, established under the auspices of GPBNet International to preserve, promote, and safeguard the history, identity, customs, governance traditions, and cultural heritage of the Gio people of Liberia, whose ancestral homeland is Nimba County.

Founded by Amb. Konah K. R. Gayetee, a proud son of the Gio Tribe and Founding Chief of the Royal House of Gio, the Kingdom was established to restore the memory of our ancestors, strengthen traditional institutions, preserve indigenous knowledge, and advance traditional diplomacy as an enduring foundation for peace, leadership, and sustainable development.

The Royal House of Gio serves as a bridge between ancestral wisdom and contemporary governance, promoting cultural dignity, ethical leadership, reconciliation, and international cultural engagement. Through strategic partnerships and community collaboration, RHG seeks to ensure that the legacy, values, and contributions of the Gio people continue to inspire future generations and contribute to national unity and global cultural understanding.
